Data Centre Service Delivery Manager

Hybrid – Swindon
Paying between £65,000 – £75,000, depending on experience.

We are recruiting for a leading UK data centre provider operating highly secure, business-critical facilities for some of the country’s largest organisations.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing data centre business, managing important customer relationships within a secure and technically advanced environment. You’ll have real ownership and visibility, becoming a trusted advisor to key clients and playing an important role in ensuring they receive an excellent service.

This is not a traditional sales role. You will manage existing client relationships, acting as their main point of contact and working closely with technical and operational teams to ensure services are delivered effectively, issues are resolved quickly and future requirements are understood.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Manage relationships with key data centre clients.
• Act as the main point of contact for service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Coordinate client onboarding, installations and ongoing requirements.
• Manage client issues and escalations through to resolution.
• Work closely with technical and operational teams to deliver client requirements.
• Lead regular client service and performance reviews.
• Keep clients updated on orders, changes, incidents and delivery timescales.
• Identify ways to improve the overall client experience.
• Support client audits, site visits and new service requirements.

Experience Required
 

• Strong experience within data centre service delivery or operations.
• Experience managing client relationships within a technical environment.
• Good understanding of data centre operations and services.
• Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing service issues and escalations.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple internal teams.

Must be eligible to achieve SC security clearance.
Driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel between sites.
